Blacksite is a venue for trading tokenised stocks on Robinhood Chain without publishing your order first. It is one contract. It keeps a vault of USDG and stock balances, collects sealed orders in batches, and crosses buyers against sellers at the midpoint of the stock's Uniswap V4 pool.
It is called a dark pool because that is what the thing does in equity markets: orders are not displayed, they meet each other at a reference price taken from the lit market, and size that does not meet stays with its owner.
What it is not
- Not an AMM. Blacksite has no liquidity curve and no LPs. If nobody is on the other side of your order in the same batch, nothing fills.
- Not a router. It never swaps on Uniswap. It only reads the pool's price, the same
slot0a swap would move. - Not private end to end. An order is sealed while the batch takes orders, then opened for a short reveal window before it settles. The page What stays private lists exactly what leaks and when.
The shape of one trade
- Deposit USDG or a stock into the vault.
- During the commit window, post the hash of your order with a 1 USDG bond.
- During the reveal window, open the order. The contract checks it against the hash and locks the size.
- After the window closes, anyone calls settle. Crossed orders fill at the pool midpoint; the rest goes back to your vault balance.
- Withdraw whenever you like. Balances not locked in an open order are always withdrawable.
